As a Secular Humanist, I believe that tecnology can never solve humanity's problems, it can only work to make our lives easier which can, in turn, allow us more time work to solve those problems ourselves. That being said, I am, as I type this, sitting in my backyard, enjoying Portland's unseasonably warm early spring weather, drinking a Sierra Nevada Pal Ale, blogging to no one in particular, listening to Brian Wilson's Smile, and burning a copy of Deadwood: Season One on DVD, all on my new laptop. I might also add that I still have 88% battery life remaining.

I love technology.

Is there such thing as a Secular Technologist?
